A New Article!!

Hello again all. I have posted a new article on my Examiner page. This one is a trip that I did from Corvallis to Klamath Falls and back, covering over 500 miles the whole way. The temps were in the 90's so every time I would stop my bike and get back on, the seat was way hot and I could feel it through my jeans. So, I decided to call this the Burning Saddle Tour. I hope that everyone likes it. Once again, please feel free to leave me a comment to tell me what you think. This is a multi-part piece.

Another Place to Dump My Junk pt.2

Apparently they published both stories that I sent to them. The other one can be found here. Thank you again to all of you for supporting me.

Another Place to Dump My Junk

I have found another site to put my stuff up on. However, this is more than just motorcycle stories. I can post just about anything on this site, including my short fiction. Although they pay even less than the examiner site, I still have a place to put my stuff where people in far off places can read it. So, since I know that you all just hang on every word I write, or not, you can check out my newest little endeavor right here. I don't know if you can leave comments or not, but if you can, please feel free to do so. Thanks to all of you supporting me and hoping for me to become rich and famous some day so you can borrow money from me.

New Article

Howdy. I know that it has been a while (a week and a half) since I have posted a new story on my Examiner site. And I am sure that you have all been anxiously waiting on the edge of your seats for the next one. Or not. Well, waiting or not, it is here so you can't do anything to stop it now. I guess you are just going to have to accept and go read it. You can do that here. While you are there, check out the previous articles, if you haven't already and feel free to subscribe. It is free, doesn't hurt, and all you get is an email notification that I have posted a new article. I will be posting another soon. I just did a 500 mile trip on my bike Monday, so I will be writing that one up soon. Thank you all for your support.

The Ride Delayed (by three years)

Well, as I was checking out the road conditions this morning, I checked to see if Highway 242 was open yet. I have been told that this road is a blast on a motorcycle. However, ever since I had found out about it, it has been closed. The reason? Construction. Now that I am actually writing about these rides, I decided to find out why it was taking so long, as I think that this road would be a great ride to do a write up about. According to the ODOT website, the road should be open sometime in August. That means that I, as your loyal Motorcycle Travel Examiner, will be keeping my eyes open for when it does become available to ride. The site says mid-August. Stay posted and feel free to go to my site and check out the latest stories. There will be a coast ride appearing there soon. Also, please subscribe. It is free and there is no junkmail sent out. You will simply receive an email telling you when I have posted a new story. You are welcome to make comments on my articles, as any feedback will only help me to get better. Hopefully. Thank you for supporting me in this endeavor.

Motorcycle Travel Examiner Site

Monday, July 6, 2009

Well, just in case anyone here hasn't heard, I got a job. It isn't Burger King, but something much more fun than that. I am writing for an online periodical called Examiner.com. I am the Portland Motorcycle Travel Examiner, and it is my job to post articles about motorcycle travel, both advice and actual trips that i have taken. So please join me in my adventures, as I attempt to meet something close to a deadline and post 3-4 articles a week. If you know of a cool ride in your area, especially if it is a day trip or maybe even an overnighter, please feel free to contact me at blacksheep201@gmail.com and tell me about it. I will gladly give credit to anyone that provides me with a trip that makes it on the site. Thank you all so much.

Please visit me here.
