Well, just in case anyone here hasn't heard, I got a job. It isn't Burger King, but something much more fun than that. I am writing for an online periodical called Examiner.com. I am the Portland Motorcycle Travel Examiner, and it is my job to post articles about motorcycle travel, both advice and actual trips that i have taken. So please join me in my adventures, as I attempt to meet something close to a deadline and post 3-4 articles a week. If you know of a cool ride in your area, especially if it is a day trip or maybe even an overnighter, please feel free to contact me at blacksheep201@gmail.com and tell me about it. I will gladly give credit to anyone that provides me with a trip that makes it on the site. Thank you all so much.

Please visit me here.

You should definitely take a ride out to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse just outside of Newport, Oregon. Not only is it a spectacular view but there are also tide pool areas on the lower beach. Also, there is a cool ghost story attached to the site.

Chris,
Just read your first three articles on the Examiner site. Great job, especially the Marys Peak ride. We were up there just the day before your ride. It's better than advertised. Looking forward for more great rides.
